Name Description
ExtensionName

The name of the VM extension.
ExtensionSettings

The extension settings. The format is specific for particular extension. To assign an object to this property use System.BinaryData.FromObjectAsJson1(0,System.Text.Json.JsonSerializerOptions). To assign an already formatted json string to this property use System.BinaryData.FromString(System.String). Examples: BinaryData.FromObjectAsJson("foo")Creates a payload of "foo".BinaryData.FromString(""foo"")Creates a payload of "foo".BinaryData.FromObjectAsJson(new { key = "value" })Creates a payload of { "key": "value" }.BinaryData.FromString("{"key": "value"}")Creates a payload of { "key": "value" }.
InputDataSources

The list of data sources this extension needs data from.
Name

A friendly name for the data source. This name should be unique across all data sources (regardless of type) within the data collection rule.
Streams

List of streams that this data source will be sent to. A stream indicates what schema will be used for this data and usually what table in Log Analytics the data will be sent to.
