Möjligheten att aktivera en tillförlitlig session tillhandahålls med tre av bindningarna som tillhandahålls av systemet. En tillförlitlig session är:

• Valfritt (och av som standard) med NetTcpBinding och WSHttpBinding.

• Krävs (och därmed alltid på) med WSDualHttpBinding.
